Shareholders Message – by CEO/President, Lloyd Stiassny

Dear Shareholders,

The Board of Directors and staff wish all of you a very healthy, happy and prosperous 2014.  This year makes the 40th anniversary of Port Graham Corporation. Together we have worked hard to maintain a clear focus and productive vision for Port Graham Corporation for the past 40 years.  Current progress has not come without a few bumps in the road, and the wisdom of your first Chairman, Mr. Roger Wallin Sr. to ” Always work together” could not be more appropriate today.  The mission which began 40 years ago is still the goal today, “To Strengthen the self-sufficiency of our people”. We strive everyday to foster an environment here at PGC to help realize this vision. From your first Chairman to your current Chairman, Walter Meganack Jr., and many leaders in between, the Corporation has had the benefit of strong, stable leadership.  I have been your President/CEO since 2003 and it has been an honor to serve under the humble leadership and guidance of Chairman Meganack.  His commitment to honoring the traditions of his ancestors with respect and dignity, has reminded me daily of the responsibility I have on behalf of each and every shareholder.  I take this responsibility very seriously, and strive to increase the value of Port Graham Corporation through improved profits and the yearly payment of dividends to shareholders.  Shareholder hire, descendant, Tribal and Community member employment is a goal we are always focused on and working to improve.

In 2013 we are very pleased to report that the Corporation hired in a key management position a shareholder descendent. Mr. Elmer Moonin as General Manager. He compliments a growing staff in Port Graham that has worked very hard and shown tremendous commitment to working for your Corporation.  This includes Alice Anahonak, our Store Manager, Sam Moonin, our Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator, Dale Malchoff, Lead Carpenter, Harvey Meganack, and the fuel support crew, and the entire Utility crew that has been working on the Spartan 151.

Thank you all for your hard work and effort on behalf of the Corporation. I would also like to thank those of you who have shown me guidance and support through the years as we continue to work together to make Port Graham Corporation the best Company it can be.
